My works are a representation of the conscious and unconscious. Reflecting on our memories, the imperfections, the obstacles that have been put in our way, but also the beauty we achieve.
Our will advances despite the mistakes our bodies and minds encounter. Perfection or the portrayal of the ideal human being is not attainable. There is no way, no formula that leads to a universal ideal.

The beauty of working with the human figure is that the pose is constantly changing. Although this is challenging, you can choose which moment you want to capture. That choice can range from vulnerable to strong.

    Influences:

Jana's education is a constant source of inspiration for her personal and professional life. Her passion for figurative work has intensified in every form over this period. In the summer of 2015 she worked in the Galerie Schloss Wiespach, a small castle in Hallein. Artists from all over the world were given studio space there in the summer to model or paint for a month. At Wiespach Castle she worked with well-known sculptors such as Gregoz Gwiazda and Debasish Bera. She helped Eudald de Juana Gorrize, lecturer at the Art Academy in Florence, mold his figurative works. This is how she discovered her special passion for figurative art in clay. This experience prompted her to apply full-time to the Florence Academy of art in Florence. The study program there focuses primarily on the human figure.

This is performed realistically in sound and also graphically reproduced, which is another major area of study.
